We are proud to announce that Veranova’s second Cambridge Science Day was a tremendous success!
From making new connections to touring our world-class Pharmorphix® labs and hearing from our inspiring speakers, we had an amazing time showcasing everything Veranova has to offer at our Cambridge site and beyond.
Among our speakers were Karl Box, Chief Scientific Officer at Pion, who provided valuable insights into the use of in-vitro tools for assessing the physical properties of small molecules and Dr. Philippe Fernandes, Associate Director of the Solid State Research Group at Johnson & Johnson, who discussed the negative effects of impurities in API development. We also heard from Dr. Alan Chorlton, consultant and co-founder of Pharmorphix, who shared some of his most memorable solid form projects.
In the afternoon, attendees had the opportunity to tour Veranova’s facilities in Cambridge, exploring the labs and engaging with our experts over a poster session in technical breakout rooms. We concluded the day with a drinks reception that everyone enjoyed.
